The plane actually shows as climbing or descending, and it also shows traffic. Pretty cool!
 
Watched it land the other day, bounced a bit but was very cool to watch.

This is way we have our IFR rating :thumbsup::

Departed the Detroit area to M34 (Kentucky Dam) after the ceiling raised a little and icing (!!!) was a smaller risk on 4/28/2018. It was bumpy below the clouds but calm on top. Flew on 8,000’ just above the clouds:

Utterly pathetic excuse for an airport. Harvey Young (1H6) in Tulsa. Landed light on fuel, self serve pump requires special code from attendant, no attendant around during business hours, airport management company doesn't even have the attendent's phone number, had to go get mogas from gas station in jugs. Turrible!

That's not where Felkins is hanging his hat these days, is it? He used to be at Pogue (owp) out west at Sand Springs.

Yeah, the south end is almost completely covered. Someone bought the airport a year or so ago and said they were going to revamp the place. It appears now that it was a scam. However, there is still a dude that works there and some planes based there, so you'd think somebody would Round-Up the runway. If I was based there, I'd just do it myself at this point. I don't think 1H6 is going to last much longer. Darn shame. I think Tulsa needs something other than KTUL and KRVS. TUL is Class C, and RVS is one of the top five busiest GA airports in the country.

Negative. He's at Riverside. I stopped at Harvey Young on the way home because it's really close to the in-laws house. I've been using 1H6 most for most of our trips to visit the in-laws, but it's getting bad. I may not continue to use it muck longer.
 
After years of fighting with time issues I was able to finally take the wife flying Saturday. She's afraid of heights and nervous about airplanes so I waited for a calm evening to take her. Success!!! She giggled during the climb and can't wait to go back up.
