We are shy of talent other than King, but the ref's have looked past at least 3 potential targeting calls and a bunch of other chippy stuff.

And my favorite restaurant/bar is closed "Until further notice." They had a flood. I assume they are dealing with a bunch of flood damage. Since it happened on a day when they were closed, I assume it is water damage, not poo damage.
 
North Texas went down 14-0 and then rattled off 42 straight points. If we win next week we will play in the conference championship game.

To be fair, Darin Sproles was an absolute monster on that 2003 team and no one had an answer for him, lol. He went to the NFL and was terrorizing the pros.
 
I can't fathom how OUs offense can be getting worse as the season progresses, and the play calling is mind boggling at times. However, they say defense wins championships and we certainly have a Top 10 defense (and a solid FG kicker). We have a good shot at getting into the playoffs but I'd bet we're 1-and-done if we get there unless we find some Sooner Magic on offense. If our Offense was even moderately decent we'd have a NC contender but it isn't likely in the cards this year.
 
So far, GT’s defense is doing about as well as anyone could ask, but the offense is showing the usual weakness. Thank goodness we have a kicker, but that’s not going to be enough. 13-6 at the moment.

You need better friends. ;)

If GT had a half-decent offensive line, and at least one good receiver, they’d be winning this. And stupid penalties (unnecessary roughness, face mask) are their bane.

The OL has regressed this year and I don't know why. But my kingdom for a RB who runs downhill with authority.
 
Both my parents graduated from UGA and I went to a buncha games with them back in the day. Decent school. Horrific fanbase.

We (the extended family) went to an A&M game in Athens 5 or so years ago. Some jackwagon 40 year old thUGA fan got in my 15 year old nephew's face and barked at him in the concession line.

Basic rule of thumb - If you see someone wearing a GT T-shirt, it probably means they went to GT. If you see someone wearing a UGA T-shirt, it probably means they went to WalMart.

Thanks, Ed. I was surprised at how the game went. I figured Tech wouldn't be able to stop Georgia and Georgia wouldn't be able to stop Tech very often. I was expecting 38-24 or something like that.
 
I was expecting a low-scoring game, primarily a defense battle, but I would have bet GT would at least get one TD.
 
North Texas punched its ticket to the American championship game and set a school record for wins.

Da Bears also won. Much better day than yesterday.
