About this time today 69 years ago

Thank you for sharing David. Your grandfather's heroism, and that of all the men and women of the greatest generation will not be forgotten.

    Pope Francis

Good grief... This thread was started to honor a man that has selflessly served humanity for a lifetime, and has provided stellar leadership to one of the oldest and most successful organizations ever known to man. He's been honored and raised to the highest possible position this side of...

    Pope Francis

....Why? I interpreted you feelings toward the Catholic Church as anger/distain. If I've missed the mark please accept my apologies.

So does your ire extend to the Freemasons, Fraternal order of Eagles, Elks Lodge, the local Country Club, or any other non-religious, non-profit?

    Pope Francis

So you guys think a church should manage their assets like the federal government, which is to stay very poorly with no business acumen. Which of course, would mean they'd go bankrupt and cease to exist. Have you ever attempted to run a business to "break-even"? I doubt it, because if you did...

No Ben, it's very clear there were perverts that molested kids and and pathetic leaders that helped cover it up. All involved should have been prosecuted, just like the perverts in every other demographic (including those who are citizens of Jackson Hole). For you to indict the entire...

All 1.2 billion Catholics are SICK because of some bad apples and poor leadership decisions in the child molestation issue? Wow talk about painting with a broad brush....

Agreed Rich. Based on what I've learned so far, I believe Francis is exactly what we need at this point in history.

    Lightspeed Part Needed

That used to be the case, but during my call to customers service this time, I was told they no longer have a supply of parts for the K, XL or 30 series headsets. They can't repair them because there are no parts. From a business perspective, I can't blame them, but it is disappointing.

    Lightspeed Part Needed

I did that once and thoroughly enjoy my Zulu headset. However, spending $400 to trade for another set that spends 90% of the time draped over the back seat not being used, seems like a very poor use of resources....

    Lightspeed Part Needed

After many years of being careful with them... I screwed up this morning and broke the left stirrup on my old Lightspeed 20K headset while clearing out the back seat in preparation for an annual inspection. Lightspeed support informed me they no longer have parts for the K, XL or 30 series...

    Nice panel upgrade

A half hour behind the yoke and you will have mastered a very intuitive piece of equipment. Really.. I found the Aspen unit to be extremely simple and intuitive. What I did find a bit challenging to begin with was using the tapes for altitude and airspeed information. It was too easy to...

    A Wife's Questions

Agreed. If all people approached problems/challenges like Becky, the world would be a better place. No matter how this situation turns out, I admire her for trying to sort through the matter in a way that includes facts and understanding rather than just emotion.

Starting the process of buying my first plane...advice needed

Wayne, well conceived agreements can typically protect everyone's financial health and well being and provide a framework for the interaction of the partners. That being said, no document can overcome incompatible personalities. Some people (like me) who are very particular about all aspects...
