i was looking at a seneca for sale in controller.com and it was listed as having twp transponders g327's. why would someone install a stand by transponder. is there a reg for a particular type of operation requiring 2 transponders?

I taught her the fundamentals and she did really good. she was dead on altitudes and airspeed. she was always adamant about flying bug smashers as she doesnt like the way i drive, but she was impressed amd really excited! and no mile high action as the rental has the autopilot inop. LOL

After a one year leave from flying I finally got back in the air today. I am cleaning up all my rust and training for single and then multi CPL!! I am flying an arrow. it is pretty damn slow, clunky, and old school (archaic) compared to the sr22t that i used to fly. good times:D

Only for vfr flights, which pretty much leaves serious flyers in the same place, with the old school medical. I think its good to continue having medical standards even for private pilots as it forces us to keep healthy, which is pretty reasonable. :stirpot:
