so just bought a 1970 182 with a Garmin 530. No WAAS, traffic, etc. barebones. Trying to find out the cost for the subscription. Is it through garmin or Jepp? On a side note, is it worth it to upgrade to WAAS, traffic, wx, or just go the extra mile and buy a 650 or 750?

Besides the obvious differences between a late 70s Dakota to a late 60s 28-235, cabin size, tapered wing. Anything that would be a deterring factor. I look and and see an older 235 goes for a bit cheaper than a Dakota close to equally equipped and engine hours.
