You know what they say, What happens in Kentucky ..... Will be broadcast to the entire world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This calls for one of my Dad's favorite jokes....Once upon a time there was a combination Zoo and Aquarium. There wasn't much money to run the place so they took in animals from other zoos and aquariums. It came to pass that the zoo had a cage full of angry lions and a pool full of rather affectionate dolphins. It was at this time that a group of seagulls nested on the zoo side of the establishment and that confused the dolphins because the gulls should have been nesting by the water. To fix the issue, the keepers planned to move the gulls but had to tranquilize the lions as the gulls were lifted over them to the sea side. Thus they were guilty of transporting young gulls over sedated lions for immoral porpoises.
I hope so too. I really enjoyed hanging out with him. 6PC might even let him park in the elite parking area with that vintage taylorcraft.
I'm in, probably with wife. Possibly with baby... hopefully not with dogs but it all depends on what can be arranged.
[blush] I'm gonna try and come, but I took a job flying for Piedmont. I'm sitting right now on a training delay and they project my class will start in late Feb, early March so it's pretty likley I'll be training while you guys are drinking bourbon and singing off-key without me.
But that's a great idea Kevin... we should drink one for everybody that doesn't make it We might need it too, because apparently @cowman's new Lance will be there and it won't be so scary taking turns learning to land that thing after a few.
I've got a hundred hours or so in a Lance...we'll be fine taking that thing for a few spins. I'm sure he won't mind.
Having been to my share of weekend fly ins there was a reason I maintained the designated driver status all weekend.
I just wanna say I'm glad Eman lives in NC and I live in Dallas. This is a legit fly-in. I am so excited to do it again this year and meet more of you.
