Dyna-Soar, for those that haven't figured it out yet.Guess the NASA program it refers to:
My father worked on Boeing's Dyna-Soar program in the early 1960s. Cool concept--ahead of its time. I think materials science needed to catch up to the concept.Dyna-Soar, for those that haven't figured it out yet.
Unfortunately, Snoopy got the credit
He said taking the grocery chain managers, the ones that made the decisions on what brands to order, up for rides in the biplane sold many pizzas for RB and made their name.
I've also seen garages that are not meant to be used as garages. Otherwise, why would they make them smaller than the average American car?I think I’ve seen houses with kitchens that are not designed to be used as kitchens, so that cutting board would fit right in.
We have one of those. The Miata barely fits. I am pretty sure our driveway wasn't meant for a car, either, as it is just barely wide enough to park on and we had to redo the landscaping to be able to open the car door and get out!I've also seen garages that are not meant to be used as garages. No, it sounds like an average new(ish) house. I have been house hunting a bit lately and continually find houses, especially new houses with two-car garages that are about 19'x19'. Try parking two average sedans in that.doesn't sould like a garage, more like a shed. :-/

I feel personally attacked

When we built our house I measured out the F150 and designed it to allow 6' space in front, back and being able to open the doors on it and the car next to it without touching - No one ever said "you know I wish we had a smaller garage"I've also seen garages that are not meant to be used as garages. Yeah but kinda like expenses growing to match your income, your stuff grows to match the space available in a garage. No one ever said "you know I wish we had a smaller garage"
it's three bays too but I had it sprayed for RV kit repellent so good so far.Yeah but kinda like expenses growing to match your income, your stuff grows to match the space available in a garage.

Yes, there is a certain socioeconomenethnic group (hey I invented a word) that 1) converts the master bedroom into a shrine with a table with an array of portraits and figurines of Jesus, 2) puts furniture not intended to be used in the other rooms, and 3) uses the garage as living quarteers.I've also seen garages that are not meant to be used as garages. We have neighbors that have couches and a TV in their garage, and are out there all the time (with the garage door open). We truly don't understand it. We assume their house must be so cluttered full of stuff that there's no room left, because they hang out in the garage even all summer long with the temps over 100 and humidity while in OK it's not at levels like in The South, still high enough to be miserable.Yes, there is a certain socioeconomenethnic group (hey I invented a word) that 1) converts the master bedroom into a shrine with a table with an array of portraits and figurines of Jesus, 2) puts furniture not intended to be used in the other rooms, and 3) uses the garage as living quarteers.

And since stuff is an expense, your income grows to match the space available in the garage. Right?Yeah but kinda like expenses growing to match your income, your stuff grows to match the space available in a garage.

My grandfather from the old country (Italy circa Mussolini control) used to say, we buy our problems...And since stuff is an expense, your income grows to match the space available in the garage. Right?![]()
Yup, been there, done that.
