Lets make Friday 'Joke Day'!

Friend of mine had friends from Russia. She related the description of their economy as "we pretend to work, they pretend to pay us."

There may be some geographical creep in that system.

I'm sending a simple DIY guide to the gov of TN.

I won't be specific on the plan, that's proprietary, but the parts list is: One storage unit with door, small. One acme portable generator, small.

I'll be expecting a royalty payment if my plan works out.

All in jest. And if that doesn't work, the next play is to write Bayer in a country that can't be mentioned that used to have a wall in the middle, and ask if they have any old....nope, can't finish that joke all the way either.

I can't help it, it's in my nature to try to solve problems.

This really isn't a joke but it made me laugh out loud when I noticed the "from" address. Is anybody dumb enough to click on the link (which goes to a google doc)???

Even if every village really only did have one idiot, there are a lot of towns and villages. That's a lot of clicks. But as the joke goes, since we invented the internet we have discovered that there are a lot more than one idiot per village.

LAS VEGAS—Expressing frustration after interacting with the unsightly couple during his first few minutes in the world, local newborn Charles “Charlie” Womack could reportedly already tell Tuesday that his parents’ genetics were not going to do him any favors. “Oh boy, looks like I’m gonna have to put all my eggs in the personality basket,” Womack said while mentally cataloging his parents’ pronounced foreheads, weak chins, poor posture, and flabby physiques.

“Jesus, how did I get saddled with so many ****ty genes? I can’t even imagine how two people so unattractive could work up the will to have a baby together. Aw, God, just look at these sad people. Guess I’m not playing any varsity sports. I’m not going to even bother trying to reach developmental milestones. For the love of God, I hope at least one of them is some sort of genius, or else I’ll really have nothing going for me.” At press time, sources confirmed that Womack had burst into tears upon meeting his already-balding 17-year-old brother.
