Scored my first ride in a PA46 Piper Mirage. Pressured cabin, twin turbos, I’m hooked!
Wind from the northeast, sun from the southeast ...
View from south of Buckeye, AZ, toward the Palo Verde nuke plant. The reflections in the distance are in the area of I-10 and Salome Road.
My boy is just now starting to "get" flying. He LOVES to be up front now...
Cool plane....don't see many of these around my part...
I heard the cameras on those military P2006T's are worth more than the aircraft.
Nice looking burger.
P2006 is a pretty nice ride for a "starter" twin.
I met a nice guy the other day at my airport who enjoys watching our videos and he took a few pictures of our departure the other morning and sent them to me. I don't have any pics of the outside of my plane in action...pretty cool of him.
Flying with a friendly CFI in Kenya, leveling of at about 300 ft after takeoff to checkout an elephant, what a blast flying around Kenya was!
Nothin stellar but wife wanted to fly “somewhere” to lunch (great wife). So we flew from KGVL for a short flight to KRHP in Western North Carolina. Another state I can list I’ve flown to...
Nice! I'm gonna try to make the Copperstate Fly-in there in early Feb.
is that a tour?
Awesome! How old?
Mine turned 2 today, and I'm wondering when I'm going to be able to keep him from pushing all the buttons and switches so I can have him back up front again.
@Grum.Man ’s favorite bird!
He is just now 2 and a half.
I flew right seat in a Caravan (passenger not pilot) for seven flights in Kenya years ago. One of my life's highlights! Had to twice low approach to run the wild game life off the runway. Pax were disembarked to jeeps with armed guards to take them to their game reserves. That area is the reverse of a zoo. You get caged in at night to protect you from the predators.
Nope, just went to the Wilson airport in Nairobi and asked around until I found someone to fly with
'scuse me while I kiss the sky...…
One of the cleanest Cirrus wings I’ve seen in awhile!
I knew there was a reason you appear to be so cool...
lol. appearances, in this particular case, are very deceiving.
A nice ground speed at the end of a 4 day trip last week after taxiing around DTW for an hour and half waiting to get deiced.
Eagles Canyon Raceway
I see about 6 runways (well, I guess 12)
Just another cold winter day in Minnesota.
Pretty sunset last week, just as I was finishing up the annual.
Finally got in the air again.
wow that place is tucked in there!
Yepp - our home airport. There is a flight school at Mettetal - those students usually don‘t have any issues with short runways and cross winds...
Foggy morning in Arizona! Temp equaled dewpoint, and wind was calm, when I took off from GYR for Yuma. It rained last night, so the air was still pretty squishy -- enough that I got a good shot of carb ice (with a Lycoming O-360) at 70% cruise at 4,500' half an hour into the flight.
westbound over central Tx yesterday around 2:00
80 hours in and took my Dad flying for the first time this past Friday.
My plane is getting is new solenoid... this was in the hangar... evidently they are the only authorized dealer/service center round these parts...
You let him right seat it huh? Nice.
He looks good for his age...
A couple of shots from the Chili Bowl Nationals Midget Car racing in Tulsa this week. If you've never seen dirt track Midgets or Sprints you're missing out. Most entertaining four wheel motorsport racing out there. You won't see more race cars upside down in a single evening. And some of them get back in the race after being flipped back upright.
2nd Lap, Feature Race, Tuesday night.
"Farming the Track" with help of John Deere.
Chili bowl is definitely on the bucket list. A few guys from work went out there. Maybe one day...
Visiting my niece and her family in Pomona. My three year old great nephew loves airplanes.
The life of a pilot is so hard..........
I had to fly this to go pick up the Cub this morning.
It's a 1951 L-19. It belongs to my latest partner in crime, Jonathan.
Flew it up to the Cub, flew the Cub for a little over an hour, then flew it back home.
It was brutally cold in the Cub.
The L-19 has heat.
You Americans are so decadent.
