What didn't you do today?

Didn't get anything accomplished on my RV-8 build! Did lots of cleco'ing on the big forward top skin (boot cowl?). But, wound up taking it all off again because I forgot to back rivet a couple of support ribs along the aft edge.

Still didn't pick up my plane from annual.

Didn’t go flying today. We got out chores done a bit too late - and now I’m looking at two days of rain. Sad.

Didn’t pick my plane up from painting which was completed 1 May. Still waiting on finished reassembly and now a Ferry Permit since it is out of annual. Maybe I’ll be flying again by mid June??

Yet again, I did not mow the lawn. But I do have a new mower.

Speaking of annuals, didn’t get my PCP Medicare Annual today.

I didn't drive my truck home. Drove the service truck. So I didn't have my Delta zulu's. Had to use dad's 3rd pair of a20's because my sister took the other set and flew to Michigan.

Found out the ear seals were worn out and dammit them things were loud.

I didn't fly to RPJ for lunch. Bees took too long.

I didn’t go to the airport to take my Happy Girl (Ercoupe) flying. Hopefully that changes tomorrow.

Didn't get done mowing today. Blew out the sidewall of a tire, late on a Saturday on a holiday weekend.

Didn’t fly my plane. Still at the paint shop waiting on final reassembly.

didn't mow the lawn today, either. Well, I made three passes in the front before the rain started. So now my lawn has a bad haircut, but at least it looks like I gave it a try.

did you get help changing your shorts?
Actually my wife came running inside in terror. She comes from a place where 93.6% of the snake population is venomous so she does not like to see snakes. And she was really screeching at me when I moved in to take the picture.

Myself I am snake friendly. I'll pick up most snakes and move them to a safe for them area. This guy is a bullsnake, non-venomous and similar to the gopher snake. Bullsnakes help keep the rodent population down so I left this one alone.

My grandma had a “pet” one in her unfinished basement when I was a kid “if you have a snake in the basement you won’t get rats”.
