What didn't you do today?

Didn't get the motorcycle out of the garage, even though it is warm enough and yesterday's heavy rain washed all the sand off the streets. Every year I tell myself I am going to ride more, but end up riding less.

Do the maintenance check flight that has been pending for two weeks, today because it was gusting 17kts direct crosswind and I'm rusty. Wind, clouds, and A&Ps have combined to keep me grounded. But there's always tomorrow!

I have the same affliction. Honestly if it were not for my wife explicitly forbidding it, I’d probably already put my old shovelhead chopper on static display in a corner of my living room. I rode it a lot 20+ years ago, I doubt I have 200 miles on it in the last 3 years (not from lack of want, but life obligations, it’s not possible for me to just decide on a moments notice to pack up the saddle bags and hit the road for a couple days like it was when I was younger).

Yeah, same here. It doesn't help that my old riding buddies have moved away or sold their bikes.

Didn’t start on building a couple fences to hide the pool and water treatment equipment. That makes approximately 900 days in a row that I haven’t started.

My riding friend is limited to staying close to home because his wife is in home hospice. He lives 80 miles from me. We might be able to ride in his area where he can be within an hour or two from her.

Your mom.

There was a line.
"Shoresy" has some great your mom one liners I unfortunately can not repeat here without ending up like eman

Sounds familiar. The wife of one of my riding buddies has been in care with severe dementia for several years now.

All my rowdy friends are growing old.

Stay awake for the entirety of the web training class I attended today. I tried to, though.

Ask the question during the training "so if a $20 dollar gift isn't considered significant enough to report as a possible conflict of interest, does that mean if the sales rep offers you certain personal services while you happen to be in the city of Philadelphia, then you don't have to report her?"

My apologies to anyone living in Philadelphia.

I have quite a list of things I didn’t do today, but no worries…I can always not do them tomorrow.

I didn't start a brush fire in the woods behind my house today, but my neighbor did.

I didn't wait to call 911 and get the fire department to put it out.

Because of all the excitement, I didn't get back to work on time from lunch... but because I'm retiring next week, I didn't care. :)

I didn't think before I keyed the mic.
But to make up for that, I did sound like a doofus.

I didn't buy an airport. But I think the sale fell through.

Mowed the yard, took a nap, grilling Italian sausage, drinking a beer, and posting on POA.

Didn’t get the fence around the blueberry bushes done. Ah well, tomorrow is shooting clays so it will get done Friday, or Saturday, or Sunday. Ah, retired life

I did not attend to my first world problems, and I did not feel bad about that. Mental health day.
