What did you do today?

That’s a pretty good hike in the Decathlon. If you have the time, fly into Liberal and check out the airplane museum on the field. I found it impressive.

Yes, it was a haul. About 9 hours total. Some tactical flying yesterday afternoon to get through a cold front, RON in Montgomery AL, then 6 hours of cruising up high today. Am at Salina KS for the IAC Nationals.

Removed this pin? From the same tire I removed a screw from last week. It never ends with these trucks.

Then cut 50 acres of the 80 i was planning to start tomorrow. Currently drinking a beer and eating the mini pizzas Teresa made for me for dinner.

My wife got a screw in her tire within a week of replacing all four. She got a second one two months later. It kills me having patches on brand new tires.

Think about it happening on a Run Flat Tires. It might mean four new tires instead of a patch on one.

Had to call a Locksmith to get the hitch pin out of my X3 trailer hitch. I had one with a lock and lost the key when I moved two years ago. I now have a hitch pin with five keys in various places including at my Girlfriend's house and also at my daughter's.

Have you considered a combination lock?

(My solution to SWMBO’s amazing talent for losing things.)

Another solution would be to model the key for 3D printing. In my case, lock came with 2 keys, one was lost, I modeled the remaining one and now I don't have to worry about getting stuck if that one disappears.

Things you get to do when you take 2 weeks off as a small business owner... Work late when you get back. View attachment 145562
Good job putting a light layer of yellow preservative on the upside-down vise.
Staircase looks good also. Dad always said "no job is done till its painted".

Watched a pilot just slightly older than myself conduct the post-maintenance test flight after our condition inspection, which dragged on for a while after a cracked engine mount was found. Engine off, engine back on, everything hooked back up, and the only squawk was a couple of loose wires on the voltage regulator connector resulting in a low voltage alarm. We'll fly again tomorrow, with me getting my first stick time in way, way too long.
