I was taken out of class in 6th grade because I dyed my hair fuchsia. It was supposed to be purple as that was the football colors. But it didn't work out. Technically I didn't make it to class as I was escorted before class started. They wanted to send me to the junior high school across the street to wash it out. It wasnt that kind of dye.Fuchsia. This was actually a spelling test.
WhiteI’m pretty sure, three of them are black.
Holy crap, EdFred got his plane painted?!?

Interesting.. It looks maroon on the phone screen. Color is weird. The official color is Pantone 1955.
Also, only changed the brown ==> black and tan ==> whatever color you want to call it.
Kept the base, and did some touch up.

Also if you look at the N-numbers against the cream, and block out the rest of the colors it looks dark. Against the black it doesn't. But I held the numbers (decals) against the paint and it's exact match. I think this is what's at play here:Interesting.. It looks maroon on the phone screen. Color is weird.
In all seriousness, it looks great.
In the right light though...![]()

The P-40s flown by the 57th Fighter Group were painted Sand 26. After sun exposure in the North African desert, the pink pigment became dominant. The 57th flew P-40s over North Africa and Italy from 1942 - 1943.
