Tomorrow I am going to fly a jet full of paying passengers. Hopefully you hear how it went from me rather than the news. I figure its 50/50.

I hope none of your passengers frequent this forum and see their chance of survival tomorrow is 50/50 lol.

As FO, I do get to address the cabin but we have a very specific script and not 1 word is to be altered.
I will not deviate but my wife notified me she booked a ride on my first flight so a lot of things went through my mind.
But I will push the button and proudly say what the company wants me to say accurately.

Does the script specify tone? What about funny accents? Translations into other languages, such as jive?

I'm my office, in front of a green screen? Maybe

Once you've been there for a bit, do you plan on making a thread about your experience, or a video? The regional industry has changed so much since I was working my way up - it'd be neat to get some first hand details on what your schedule looks like, what the first year pay pencils out to, etc...

Regardless, congrats - glad you're having fun!

I'm sure she was bursting with pride and informed some fellow passengers that her husband was up front... Flying his first actual flight on any airplane with more than a handful of seats. I wonder how that went over...

...And all of us are waiting to hear how it went!

I'll make sure to drop by your new office to remind you that I'm a pilot and seated in 16D, if you need me.

I can just hear her: "I'm so happy he actually gets to fly a real airplane for the first time! He was so excited this morning that it took two martinis to calm him down!"

We have enough beer/wine leftover from the wedding to last us a couple or three days!
One of our local liquor chains does weddings…they deliver the order to your venue day of. Anything unopened (bottles) intact (beer cases) they will accept for refund.

Aw man hope he (or anyone else) didn’t get stuck trying to get into Chicago yesterday. Was climbing outta there and heard center give everyone 2-3 hr holds.

At this point, we can only assume @SixPapaCharlie got caught meowing on guard and is in the klink.
Or he’s already gotten his SAG card and is shooting social media commercials for his new airline.IMG_1005.jpeg
