No, see Page 29. The circling to land cannot be accomplished in a Redbird. You can do all the other tasks in a Redbird and then jump in the plane for a circle to land.

AATD or BATD?

AATD, everything except the circling approach and landing from approach tasks.
BATD, nothing.

Both are clearly indicated in the LOAs which are available on the Redbird site.

Okay, wow good to know. So I can do ils, rnav, loc approaches and jump into an aircraft to do a circle to land approach with an instructor . Thanks for the insight.

I did an IPC to return to flying a couple of years ago. Did most of the work in an AATD. 1.3 in an airplane to do landing and circle to land (and a couple of extra for night currency )
