How many YEARS have you been on POA?

Almost 18 Years - October 7, 2008.

I've been on "all the others" but this is the one I stay with.

Aug 21, 2008, not long after Nate pointed me in this direction. No idea what number I am but rather fond of 42.
 
11 years. Still 113 points.
 
A bit over 18 years. Never banned nor suspended. Warned a couple of times tho...
 
Right around 19 years for me. @Missa told me to join when I started learning to fly at the flying club our mutual former employer had. Looks like I’m member 3654.

Proved to be the best decision of my life when I met and married member 91.

That boy on my shoulders in my profile pic is an undergrad at CU Boulder
One of the highlights of my flights was flying myself from the Bay Area to see him in Boulder (hope that airport stays open- it’s under threat)

Based on my experience running a (much much) much smaller Xenforo board, I would guess that a whole lot of those "registered users" are bots/spammers who have been filtered/banned. Pretty sure Xenforo doesn't re-use those ID numbers.

yup - I remember. I still miss the filtering capabilties that usenet reader clients could provide.

and I'm happy that some of the trolls from rec.aviation never made it to POA or PS.

December 31, 2005, so 20 years, 8 months. I remember seeing someone on the Red board make a reference to the Blue board. I had never heard of either the red board or the blue board at that point, but figured I’d check it out.

I’m not a prolific poster, but I’ve learned a ton by watching the discussions. I met some of you at the Wings fly-ins.

There about 45,000 registered (but not banned or deleted) users and 15,000 or so that have actually visited the forum this year.
