Plan B! Gaston’s is SOLD OUT Oct 3-5.

Later in the month, like 17-19 or 24-26 is better. *I* can’t do 10-12.

How do we feel about pushing it farther out?

Ok, slow voting but it looks like Oct 3 - 5 works for most. Make those reservations early and often!

Other arrangements will be discussed closer to the date

I’m in for anything and have a new plane to show off so I’ll be there!

We're in. The later the better. Any hints on the new plane?
If @eman1200 shows up, I'll cover his beer.
 
All 3 options work for me too.
 
I'm pretty sure all three of those are going to be right smack in the middle of harvest (corn is already pollinating). I guess I'll abstain from voting this year. Following in case it rains that weekend.

Maybe I didn’t do the ‘@everyone’ thing right.

My wife has some event Oct 10-12 so it’s probably not gonna be that weekend, at least not for me

@everyone doesn't work. Best bet is to find the old thread and copy/paste the mentions from there.
 
 
As of now, I don’t have a preference. But certain events that are out of my control may dictate whether or not I make it this year.

So, have we nailed down Oct 3-5? Jill keeps asking. Has anyone booked rooms yet? Jill and I would like to share/split a 2-bedroom cabin if possible.

The later you push, the more likely I can show up, FWIW.
 
Both of the new weekends work for me. Later probably gets lighter for Gaston’s too.
 
I can make both work but between those options, later is better than earlier.

Edit:
I was reading the wrong set of dates. Anything works in October, but my least preferred is 24-26 (but I can still make it)

Im on call the 24th. But even the 17TH, 18TH, 19TH our chances would be pretty low because we would need to take an extra day to see family in Jonesboro, unless we get em to join us.
 
I'm loosing track -
1) Is the meet up still on?
2) What weekend?
3) Never been to this place - casual good natured weekend, or does this involve bon fires and goat dancing?
 
Jill and I are good with 17th or 24th weekends. John, as soon as a date is nailed down, you booking? We sharing?

Since this riddle doesn't really have an optimal answer and our democratic date picking process has broken down, I'm just going to go ahead and book OCTOBER 17th-19th and hope that works out. That's the only date where no one is a hard no.
If I end up having to change it because of a mutiny against that date choice it's not the end of the world :) (I think we just need to pick one and get some clarity so people can start planning around it).
When I call, I'll also tell them we have a number of people booking and get a feel for their availability.
