How are prices at your local watering hole? I heard some reports of signifincant price hikes, but the two places I get fuel from are still unchanged, in the low $5.
I do wonder if it's just a case of them not needing another truckload yet, though.

Definitely sounds like an airport that hasn't needed to order fuel at the new stepped-up prices resulting from the Iran war.

Or some have just hiked up prices because the news says gas prices are high. But obviously avgas doesn’t cycle thru as fast as auto. All things considered, still plenty of places that haven’t jacked them up yet. TTA has always been a ripoff from what I recall.

I basically take gas at two airports ,one hasn’t received a new order yet and the other went up .40 cents a gallon both still under $5 a gallon.

KEVV is over $7/gal right now. Our school is trying to plan lessons around hitting nearby airports for cheaper fuel.
Sigh.

$5.20 at Okeechobee, Florida (KOBE). It was a buck less a few weeks back. OBE and Arcadia (X06) go back and forth for which one is the cheapest in the region.

My local field was up about $0.80/Gallon today.

My airfield which pumps a lot of gas boosted from $5.89 to $6.60 for self serve. And the full serve is now $7.66, up about a full buck. Auto gas regular unleaded at my gas stations is up from $2.79 to $4.29.

Not sure how long the lag is normally from when price changes happen in supply to when customer should expect to fully feel it; my airport was quick. We'll see where it goes from here.

I stopped at Arcadia this morning. They just received a fuel delivery and their price went up a bit. IIRC, it was $5.11.

Car gas is more per gallon than avgas. At least for the moment.

Might not be such a bad thing... too many students today complete their checkride having no clue how to buy fuel at an airport or fuel the plane.

Yup. Regardless of the school I’ve taught at, I always have a lesson in self fueling (prior to solo cross countries).

KMRT still at $4.50. Waiting on a new truck load. Others are up about $0.50 per gallon.

My airport in Central IL is still $5.00 but we haven't gotten a new tank load yet since oil jumped.

One would have to be really clueless to not be able to figure out how to buy full service fuel.

There are a lot of clueless people out there.

But, I can't even remember when I last flew into an airport that had full service fuel.

I was in one today. There are 13 within 40NM of 4B8 up in your area.

Filled up for 4.59 at BUU today. Could have went a little further to 57C and got 4.39

60 degree crosswind 16g23 made things spicy, but worth it.

Have you ever visited 96C? I love to visit the ACA factory en route to Oshkosh. One of these days I'm gonna overnight at BUU. Seems like a really cool area.

27WI? I have not. But that does sound like a cool idea.

I've been to Burlington to drop off welders for repair. Area seems to be stuck in the 1940's. Kinda cool albeit a bit sleepy.

avgas $3.00/gal in Hooker OK (O45) as of yesterday...filled a travelair up ...can't ever recall when avgas was cheaper than car gas...may be a first

HWY (Warrenton, VA) went from $5.15 to $5.55 as they got a new load of fuel. At least they sent a nice note of apology to all the tenants explaining why it went up.

I suspect it won't be the last price hike we see given current shenanigans.

Oh they’re going up. I get the price sheets each week from my Titan Fuels rep. Prices are taking considerable jumps and I expect $6+ average for Avgas here in the SE to be the norm here shortly.

Probably some flash to bang between supply disruption and pump prices. Mogas has a faster lifecycle than AVGAS so the price reacts faster.

No doubt. An airport runs through a load of avgas every what, few months @RyanB ? Costco probably runs through a few loads a day.

Gas stations go through much more fuel and get replenished often so their prices are more volatile. Airports can take a bit to go through 20,000 gallons or whatever their tanks hold.

Nobody has yet. But many have raised prices in anticipation.
Yeah, I always assumed the prices were constantly dynamic and not tied to a specific unit of shipment. It's not like retail stores only change their prices for products after the existing stock is depleted.
