Just did 2150 miles, about 14.5 hrs flying in 206. We did 4hrs a day, but after 2nd 4 hour day... you were ready to get out of plane.... Jon

Thanks for all the replies. I will work through each suggestion made and update. Compressions all mid -high 70's one was low 70's and mechanic said it can be aligned rings and it could come back up??? It will blow out anything over 9 qt., after that belly stays "marginally clean" I fly...

I'm flying a T206H with a TIO-540 790 ttsn. The engine uses zero oil for first 12-15 hrs. after change then starts using about a qt. every 2-3 hrs. Is this normal? I am changing every 25 hrs., is this sufficient? Thoughts?? Thanks, Jon

The family is headed to Orlando for Forth of July weekend. We are starting 00R (Livingston). This is our first LONG family cross country, and I am looking for any "cool or cheap fuel stops " along the way. We are thinking first stop KJKA for fuel, potty, lunch and then along the coast to KORL...

I'm installing a Garmin GDL 88 instead of active traffic, and I know by 2020 most of us will have ADS-B out. My question is until then, will my system display mode c traffic as well? Anyone flying with the system? What do you think?? Thanks, Jon

UPDATE...Going to keep plane I have, I changed to GDL 88 in lieu of GTS800 traffic. Thanks for all the wisdom in your comments. Jon

I guess you are touching on some of my concerns. Money in the bank/market isn't doing anything. I know you don't have a crystal ball, but consider keeping and flying both 600 hrs. over next 5 yrs. (kids leave and me and momma get a faster plane) which one depreciates more??? 2000 going from...
