I'm letting it stand and letting others draw their own conclusions. I would bring back the deleted post as evidence, but it was too disgusting to warrant doing that.

If you don't like it, don't read it. Just move to the next thread. If you don't like a poster, ignore them. The fact that we as a society have turned into such a bunch of snowflakes concerns me. Thank god for places like uncontrolled airspace where I can still get dick pics and see adult humor without others complaining.

x2. I've said it before, I can't fathom "reporting" a thread. u don't like it, move the fk on, no one is forcing u to read it. the other thing I'll say is the moderation here has gone downhill. NOT because they are trying to cupcake things up and change how the internet works, and believe me they ARE cupcaking things up, but because of sheer inconsistency. completely inconsistent moderation, that's all I'm saying.

I checked that site out like a year or so ago. the site itself was a joke. just a bunch of peeps trying to start political arguments, a total waste from what I recall. not sure if it's changed since then so if it's gotten better, great.

ok, point taken. but 1) they weren't even good arguments, and 2) that's not what's going on here so it's mostly irrelevant.
 
In the early days of PoA even some of those that are still there would have been nuked. I don't know what the deleted one was, but I'm a little surprised that some of the others weren't reported.

Though job the mods have. Thanks to all of the MC.

I joined tonight. Had no idea it existed because of the lack of advertisement.
 
Yes we have a FB group called uncontrolled airspace mods are Me, @Cajun_Flyer @DavidWhite, and @vontresc
We don't really mod anything but if it gets political, the post will magically and quietly fall to the bottom and fade away.

Most of the mods are too drunk to really do much.
Best way to get banned form the group is to report a post.
I think so far that is the only reason anyone has been banned.

It has been become a sad world when there is censorship on forums because people actually get offended over stuff and report it. That is the mindset of a North Korean. Or they are just really that overly sensitive babies. I'll be joining the FB group.
 
Pretty low, whoever reported a joke and couldn't scroll on by it like an adult.

As bad as the little PC kiddies who have run comedians off of college campuses because they need their mommies to protect them from the anti-PC horribleness of the likes of Jerry Seinfeld.

I'm sure they knew what they were doing and won't be punished for hiding behind the PC Police to make their own personal attack against @mscard88 -- who wasn't harming anyone.

Against the rules of the site, I might add.

Fortunately he isn't banned (yet) so we can talk about it without also breaking a rule that is OVER enforced.

On topic... you know how many people I've blocked? 0. How many posts have I reported? 0. I scroll past it because the person who posted it may have something valuable to say down the line. We all have good and bad moments. Blocking someone over one of them is absolutely childish.
 
POA has some great people and information but seems to be dropping lower in my list of places to go to. UA has grown pretty big and has only gotten better, here not so much with a mod that appears to have personal grudges.
