GO PATRIOTS!!!!!!!!

Patriots are something like 133-48 or something like that in the last 11.

I would say that 133 is most of them. (Though some of those wins and losses may have been Cassel's that one season Brady was out.)

I don't know if Brady is the most successful QB in the history of the nfl, but he has GOT to be in the top tier, if not the best.

Montana and Bradshaw come to mind.

Brady still has some time, a win Sunday would certainly be good, although it's not like he needs any more money..

Bart Starr quarterbacked five championship teams. More than Montana or Bradshaw.

Yep but there were fewer teams, less competition, and fewer QB's which shrinks the sample, imo.

I don't see your point. Of course fewer teams means fewer QBs. It also means fewer opportunities to become a QB. In a sixteen team league half of the QBs today would be in some other line of work.

If I flip a coin 10 times and it comes up tails 50% of the time, it's not that amazing. If I roll a 10 sided die 10 times and it comes up 5 50% of the time, it's a little more impressive.

I was thinking more along the lines that when there are 32 (30?) QB's the sample is much bigger, therefore it is harder to win the big game, than if there were 12.

that's all.

Yeah, but no matter how good he gets, there's always going to be an asterisk next to it because of the cheating.

Cheaters never win doesn't mean they don't have the highest score on the score board. It means that even when they do, their ability is still in doubt because you never know if that's just because they didn't get caught this time.

Wow, you must have inside information to know for a fact Brady knew anything about it. The asterisk is being put next to his name way before the facts are known, and clearly 2 PSI in the ball did not change the outcome of the game by any measure. From what I understand in reading about the incident the suspect game balls were used only in the first half. Patriots blew them out is the second half using the other teams footballs. :dunno:

Quit your crying. You look silly. I'm not even a Patriots fan!

Yeah the meaningless crap that dribbles out of multiple orifices in more traditional interviews is way better. LOL.

Damn, as a fellow Broncos fan (assumption), I would request a bit more solidarity! Remember last Superbowl?

Not a Pats fan, but dislike Marshawn Lynch's interview BS.

When the nfl started fining players for not wanting to give press conferences, I lost interest in the process. I used ot love the crazy stuff some of those guys would think up and say, then the goon squad made it mandatory, and then tagliabeau ape-**** because Cinncinnati's coach thought the women reporter should wait till the guys put pants on to ask her ONE question.

That's when I began losing interest in the nfl.

When I discovered the league washed their hands of playing injuries and forced those guys to deal with them on their own, I was finished believing that their was shred of integrity int he game at all.

Lots of people like pro wrestling and you can get next week's results this week, which tells you the thing is rigged, but folks still lap it up, just like the nfl.

Hahahaha. Poor Broncos. Now Elway has decided he's going to regress to his childhood and hire all of his childhood friends. Manning has that look in his eyes that he's lying about returning because he knows he can't pass the physical and they're hiding it for negotiations. He's done.

You sure? They appear to be missing whenever he starts pouting on the sidelines.

I always figured Belicek borrowed them for a minute to give McDaniels a few moments of knowing what having a pair feels like. Mini Hoodie hasn't yet earned his own pair.

Have you seen his commercial?? I saw it this morning, I thought it was funny! :D
I like Marshawn, mainly because he screws with the media!

I'm the opposite, I think it's great. What's BS is that they're forced to talk to the media in the first place. Some people think it's stupid or don't have much to say..."just let me do my job and let that speak for itself" is a great attitude.

Now, if they'd just stop the BS end zone celebrations I might start watching again.

Okay, probably not.

Oh! Give it a rest! Broncos got beat and now you play character assassination on one of the best QBs to play the game. :nono:

Hahahah. Character assassination of a sportball player! Oh no!

LOL. Overreact much?

Peyton is a whiny baby too. As is Rivers. As is Cutler.

Multiple millions to play with balls and they all pout like little girls.

Better?

Yea, I think Peyton is done, but Elway's friends will probably do a good job!

Haven't flown into APA for a while, still very busy?

Just want to say that I grew up with the Hawks back in the 70's and have stuck by them even when I was one of the few actually in the Kingdome.

Regardless of the score, the Hawks have surprised many but not only winning last year but making it back this year. They have a great team that is not only good on the field but are good people when they are out in the community.

They are a team that plays football because they like to play football and because of that, they deserve to go far.

Wait, you let them out? That's pretty nice of you. Free range football players can be tricky.

I know the Pats just keep all the players in their stables during the season. Way too much risk of those thoroughbreds hurting themselves if they were allowed to roam the pasture freely.

LOL!

While rare, some NFL players can interact with the general population for small a small amount of time before returning to a controlled environment.

This just in. Wheaties box cover is done...

Do you know what Russell Wilson does on Tuesdays ?

I sure do and I think he is great! I was being sarcastic when I said that because I think this group of Seahawks players are the best since Dr Dan Dornick, Steve Largent and Jim Zorn played.

Brady is without doubt one of the best ever. He joins the top five or ten who ever played. I think Manning is- was a very great quarterback also. People who call modern football players pussys don't know what they're talking about. These players today are constantly working out and are in superior shape compared to the 50s-60s etc. Players like Granowski and J.J. Watts, etc. would bury their critics one on one. Terrific players!

As usual, you're spot on Jimmy.

The nfl cleverly gave themselves an out big enough to drive a battleship thru. The only thing that is being considered is how to get the league through this without it costing them money.
The only thing that motivates the commissioner is protecting the cash cow, and not the integrity of the sport, or the truth.
