Williams AFB?My veteran's plate is "GOMBEY" which was the name of my T-38 training flight. It's a Chinese word that, loosely translated, means "bottoms up."
Yes, that is correct. My class was 69-08. Instructor was Major Joe Carpenter, one of the POWs released from North Vietnam for propaganda purposes.Williams AFB?

I got a quick peek at one a couple months ago. Kinda neat plane, but I didn't have enough time to really explore it. Lot of space behind the seats, though.Saw a Vashon Ranger parked on the ramp when I landed today. I was going to go back over and have a look, but decided I really didn't care that much.
They are kind of cool. Useful load is tiny under old LSA rules, but mosaic will help that some.I got a quick peek at one a couple months ago. Kinda neat plane, but I didn't have enough time to really explore it. Lot of space behind the seats, though.
Impressive on a plane with just two engines. Welcome back.… four engine failures on rotation…
I used to use a mixture of 67% peppermint and 33% spearmint. It really worked.!! Plus the pleasant smell. This is the first time we've tried the peppermint spray and I'm really hoping it will have a deterrent effect.
I have used rags doused with peppermint oil in the combine cab in the past. Thankfully no mice in the cab, but I also haven't had any in the cab in the years I forgot to do it, so that's about as valid as saying it prevented hippopotamuses in my back yard. I am using the same strategy for completed RV parts. put some on a rag, stuff it in a lightening hole, tape over it to seal it in. We shall see. I also taped aluminum window screen over the holes, so they'd have to be pretty dedicated to get in there. They probably still will.

Oh good.Maybe something to consider, as per ChatGPT:
Summary:
Peppermint or spearmint oil won’t immediately damage aluminum, but they’re not recommended on aircraft metal because they can attack paints and sealants, and leave residues that promote corrosion.
The best way we've found to keep rats out of the barn is to have one or two feral barn cats in residence, but our Doberman chases and annoys them and they leave.
Get yourself a couple of Jack Russell Terriers ... they really enjoy the thrill of the chase and the prize they win!
I'll send the GSP over. Tore the hell out of my lawn mower seat and digs holes after chipmunks. But she'd be happy to help. She even teaches the fox how to hunt.Baited some rat traps in SWMBO's tack & feed room and in my shop. Also treated areas with peppermint spray. We've been fighting a rat problem for a while, and I've killed and buried a dozen or so over the last few months. This is the first time we've tried the peppermint spray and I'm really hoping it will have a deterrent effect.

Also practiced some music for church on Sunday. Good excuse to crank up my Les Paul.

Least the dog doesn't **** on everything and chew on wiringI’m thinking about getting rid of the Dobe and naming the rats. They’re less destructive than the dog and they eat less.

Triple hernia surgery this morning, now back home. Loopy, tired, sore, nap time.
