What are you guys having the best luck with after a recent purchase? (Post Covid)

I've had good luck with anything produced by B & C Specialty Products.

I installed a new B&C alternator and regulator just last weekend and it was easy as pie and worked perfectly right out of the gate.

B&C are good people, too. I switched to their regulator a year or two ago. The first one developed a problem; they shipped me a replacement without hesitation, in advance of getting the defective one back. Zero hassle.

B&C is my go to, if they have a product that fits my application and needs.

I’ve had good luck with the Plane Power regulators as well. Between those two choices, that should cover most light piston powered aircraft.

B&C Regulator, flawless operation and steady smooth voltage for at least 15+ years. I keep an old OEM mechanical regulator in the plane for a backup.

My Plane Power r1224 has done well, though I don't like that it is not waterproof. I relocated it to the backside of the firewall to increase longevity.
