Ram Mount Tab-Tite Cradle for 10" Tablets

I bought this cradle for my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, but found out it will not fit. The Galaxy Note is thicker than the iPad and Galaxy Tab 10.1. I wound up buying a different cradle and using my iPad Mini instead.

Cost me $30 + shipping, asking $25.

Did you know you can buy the right size cups and add them to that base? (BDTD when I moved from a full size iPad 3 to a Mini)- http://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-HOL-TAB6-CUPSU and http://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-HOL-TAB12-CUPSU use the same backplate.

Interesting, I have a similar looking ram mount and my nite 10.1 fits just fine.

 

When I bought it, I saw Samsung Tab 10.1 in the description, not knowing there is model called the Samsung Tab. I just thought that meant tablet. When it arrived, I put it together and found the tablet was too thick for it. When going back on the website, I saw a comment that the mount will not fit the Samsung Note, and it is made for the Samsung Tab, or any other tablet (that is thinner than the Note) up to 10.1 inches.
