Questions that need answering

How does Teflon stick to the pan?

Why does sour cream have an expiration date?

Why does the Supreme Court get a 3 month vacation every year? (serious question)

Why does this thread exist when Pilots know everything worth knowing?
In order to enrich the world by sharing our many moons (in many cases quite literally) of experience with our sadly uncertificated and emotionally impoverished human beings.

The fourth side was to be built by someone getting a political favor but didn’t actually have the means to build it.
And the Pentagon was supposed to be a square. But it was built by a defense contractor.

What do women want?

(or would that fall into the subcategory of questions that need answering but no answer is possible?)
I found the answer to that a while back. My wife was having our kitchen remodeled. Whenever I mentioned that to a woman, every one of them asked if we were getting an island kitchen. So, the answer to the question is, an island kitchen. Women want an island kitchen.

Why do the stew^h^h^h^hflight attendants on Delta not look like these women? Especially the one on the left, she actually looks happy to be there..

I can’t believe they left out a pic of a babe like Thelma Ritter.

5 defense contractors probably.

Which reminds me of an old software joke:
If a COBOL compiler is built by a team of n software engineers, how many passes will it have?

n-1. Somebody has to be manager.

Is there a flattest?

Flat is infinitely impossible. There’s no way to achieve zero variation. Sure, we can’t measure that it’s not flat. Right? Wrong?
Well...

I mean, not to be a "know-it-all" but...

According to Gerard 't Hooft and Leonard Susskind, our senses merely perceive a 2D projection on a distant, infinitely large boundary to be a three-dimensional universe. So, since reality is flat, at a cosmological level, everything already possesses perfect infinite flatness. In fact, according to Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle, if you try to measure the exact variation of a surface, you hit a limit: Δx * Δp >= ħ / 2. Push the momentum variation to infinity, and Δx = 0.

And the question I used to ask my parents constantly, and never got a satisfactory answer....

Why.??

How do I always stumble into hobbies that are filled with people geekier than me? Or is it that I'm just kidding myself, and I'm just the slow geek in the room?

Well, we could build a simple interactive script, perhaps in Python, or maybe a Tkinter GUI app, or even something in Streamlit. Then we could check off all of your hobbies to accurately calculate your "geek score."
