PoA slowness?

We were ionized, but we're okay now.

It just took about forty seconds to load POA for me, but it went to this page at a normal speed.

Currently on POA:
Total: 2,576 (members: 28, guests: 2,548)

Could 2,548 "Guests" be responsible for the slowness?

Probably a denial of service attack from the pilotsplace or purple.

possibly bots that are now being kept out of forum-that-cannot-be-named. That forum used to have thousands of "guests" but now has zero.

I sensed a disturbance in the force as well, but they must have been in and out in eighteen seconds like Smithers.

I noticed that usually between 2030 and 2230 Pacific Standard Time the forums are very slow to open. Sometimes I just give up and abort. Other times I'll wait a minute or two and a forum finally opens...

At first I thought it was my internet at home. However, I'm away from my house and it's happening here too.

Maybe some sort of update or backups taking place? It really is getting obnoxious.

Note: I'm accessing POA via Tapatalk

I will not answer issues with Tapatalk. It's full of bugs which make it a pain in the ass on this site. It barely limps along in normal operations.
It's impossible to debug because it blows up when you put the site into test mode because of coding bugs on their end that they refuse to fix.
