Well perhaps in your area. My senses never defined enough to tell at first noise whether it was going to be a #4 bump and run or hang around at a #6, but all the locals seemed to know. So the advice given to me was get out the shower especially if you live on the 1st floor of a taller building. And having been thrown out my bed by one, I followed the advice whenever possible.
