Starting to fly a Cessna 310. My friend uses an iPad Mini with the a Ram suction mount on the left lower corner of the windshield. Has anyone tried the larger iPad Pro (9.7 or the new 11) in the same location?

I'm curious about the panel visibility with the larger iPad off to the left side in the Cessna 310.

    Thank you

I have mine right on the yoke. No obstruction at all. [IMG]

Don’t all of those silly toys on your glareshield obstruct your visibility?

    Oh. Humor. I see.

That looks like a good solution. I like the horizontal/landscape orientation too. Which yoke mount are you using?

That is a Pivot case and the Pivot yoke mount.

I’ve always used yoke mounts and an iPad mini in twin cessnas (both pistons and Citation).

upload_2019-1-5_7-52-31.jpeg The PTT switch may limit the yoke mount option unless there is a gap
