I've never had the pleasure (?)
Just back yesterday form a family trip to Europe
Paris, Ghent Belgium, and ended in Amsterdam
I was secretly hoping that at least one of our hotels would have one....but no such luck
Along with the bidet you also install one of these:

I can't remember where it was, but I was shocked to see a modern version of these on my trip. I think it was either in Belgium or in Amsterdam.
My 20-year old son had no idea what it was. Good old dad to the rescue with more useless knowledge!!
This new one had the towel looped pulled up tight. You had to pull hard to get the towel out, then as soon as you let go after wiping a motor wound the dirt section back in.
The germophobe in me though is shocked that in this day and age they allowed it. It still had a fairly large length of towel exposed between uses and anyone could wipe on it without pulling out any...and therefore the dirty part wouldn't retract.... or any matter of lovelyness could splash or be sneezed on it.
Probably all in the name of save a tree. What a failure!
This is in the men's room at the Kuwait City airport. A middle-eastern bidet!

When I traveled back and forth to scandanvia back in the late 90's these dish sprayer things were almost everywhere as I recall. Some had a little more substantial nozzle, but the same idea. Most were dusty and corroded and looked like they were never used. I wondered if they were meant to be bidets...or if they were meant as a water source for the janitor
