They do that a lot for events in the hangar. There are usually strings of twinkly lights that accompany it.

Final trip in my plane, although the first sale fell through. Still had a blast, went from KCDW to KERI to KPCW to 3W2 to 3T7 to 3X5 to KOZW, then the true final trip was KOZW to KMFD to KRDU.

Yes it is!

Check it out, one of my favorite areas in Florida. There is a restaurant called the Hangar that is right on the airport. I don't recommend the food, (Its not bad) but the sights are awesome. They are paving the main runway, hopefully they will be done when you get there.

Trip to Sporty's

Earlier this week my dad and I flew some meat down to the guy catering my sisters wedding. Long story short the strip we landed on wasn't your typical airport (even though I did my research prior). We had an escort the whole time we were there, and he showed us this.

The guy was real nice and let us climb inside

I have yet to be around/on any plane other than our little ga planes, and a few turboprop king airs and cessnas. Being next to and climb aboard the first plane designated as Air Force One was an awesome experience for me and my dad (no flying background at all). Can't wait to see what the plane looks like once they restore it!

York Minster is impressive from the ground. From around 3000 AGL, not so much.



We took off from the paved runway (going to the left). Landed in the grass to the right of it. WWII RAF bomber base.
