You would have to fly a REAL wide pattern to end up in the Bahamas.
Having just flown down to Tampa and back and few months ago, it wouldn’t be *that* much further…
Who reaches for the ban button
Well the good news is that after only a few hours here, we’ve decided this was such an absolutely brilliant idea, it will become our Feb/Mar annual fly in.
The discussion now is whether it moves to various islands or stays in the same place.
Okay, what is it with this recurring pattern joke? Honestly, I don’t understand it…
Ask @EdFred , he started it.
We can't get people to show up for a southeast POA fly in but some how we are managing an international POA fly out..interesting
I’d come to the southeast events, but apparently they aren’t very reliable
I’m very convincing
I just picked up a trip to drop some people off at Marsh Harbour at 1:00 tomorrow, so I’m claiming attendance on this one!
How much time do you have there? I think you can only claim it if we meet you for lunch?
@ktup-flyer has the final verdict
Edit: you gotta ship them further south - that’s way too far
Only 188nm. Full send
We are just dropping off passengers, so unless the other pilot I’m flying with has to rush home we could do lunch, but I know it’s a haul from where you guys are.
This trip may cancel due to weather anyway, so stay where you are and have another Kalik.
Where are the blue water pictures from flying over to the Bahamas?!?
We actually had our airplanes shipped over
Dinner date at The Blue Conch with @simtech, the womens, and @kaiser 5th wheeling

This looks like not a bad time.
what's goin on right now?
I just got home. It was an awesome flyin. Unfortunately I had to leave early due to other obligations. As icing on the cake, I just did the whole return trip Exumas (MYEF) to Chicago (KDPA) in a single day, 11.0h and finished it up with a bumpy approach to OVC008 and low-40s and rain.
being yachties at the yacht club for the day
Is that Frank catching a wave?
I think it’s a wave catching Frank.
Man, what a day! Lunch at Staniel Cay Yacht Club, Thunderball Grotto snorkeling/free diving, then loose formation with the boys on the flight back for some pics. This is 100% an annual trip now.
Fun fly out today.
images my POV.. Simtech's V35
A good day indeed
