A CAT IIIB Appriach in case you haven't seen one...

How the hell do you taxi in that soup? Great you landed, but now you are stuck on the active sucking your thumb :p

SMGCS charts and you taxi verrrry slowly. :)

Those airports have REALLY BRIGHT LIGHTS!

I saw a United Flight come in and land in thick fog in Fresno. They have to be able to see to taxi. Like 300' RVR I think is minimum.

Depends on the company. My company only allows us to taxi with 600 RVR or greater

Wish I had those yesterday. I sat on the taxiway for 4 hours yesterday waiting for the fog to clear up enough so I could see 30 ft. in front of me to go back to parking.

KFAT is 600 RVR minimum. And, it has SMGCS, including escort vehicle available.

But some are 300 right?

SMGCS guides and monitors ground right?

Not all airports have them as you probably know, I think mostly Class Bs.

At London Heathrow they turn on taxi way turn off lighting and taxiway centerline lighting all the way to your individual gate or stand as the Brits say.

I had the windscreen fog up like that a few times. Wipe it with a rag, problem solved.

You also need to remember you are taxiing at 20 kts, not the 140 kts you saw on the video landing.
