Professional: Cross 750 Hours then hide on the upper end of the reserve list.
Join the mentor program at my company. I have some stuff to pay it forward and that feels like a way to do it.

GA: Add a rating or endorsement. Tailwheel, Glider, Sea Plane, CFI. Just some forward progress on the GA side.

Hour Target: 840

I hope when I revisit this thread a year from now I chose the Sea Plane rating and I really hope I chose to do it in Alaska.
That just sounds like a great experience.

Just do it.!!

You will not regret it.

Google the Great Alaskan Bush Company, it might help you make up your mind...

Get my Inspection Authorization, finish my ‘46 Chief, get the 180 flying.

Maybe even get the Taylorcraft done…

Chief is paint and assemble. Poly spray going on the fuse tomorrow. 180 is get tail reassembled after some repairs, windshield in and it’ll be airworthy again. Taylorcraft needs tail feathers painted, fuse recovered. Ambitious but doable.

Fly to Oshkosh.
Fly to at least one or two new airports every month.
Re-upholster the seats and install a headliner.

I lived in Ketchikan for many years, and spent a little time at the Great Alaskan Bush Company while going to college in Anchorage.

My aviation goals for 2026 are simple, get my PPL and fly as many hours as I can afford.

Pass my commercial checkride... which is actually scheduled at the beginning of Jan so hopefully that one gets checked off fast.
Fly into Oshkosh.
Obtain a CFI rating.
Start making tens of dollars in my new aviation side-hustle.

- not bankrupt myself by spending too much money on aviation

-6 LLP missions, 25 young eagles
- get the RV14 on wheels
- add a state to my map
- lose some weight... going to be mission critical for tailwheel and acro training

- stretch goals: tailwheel endorsement? Avionics in RV? Trip to Oregon to fly van's demonstrator? Ban @eman1200 ?

I'm kind of sad that I'm not putting commercial on this list. It just doesn't excite me that much, or at least not as much as building. I'm thinking A&P might be my next certificate, but that's going to take a couple years.

1,2,3) Fly 100 hours, fly the Hudson River VFR corridor, add a couple of new states to my map.

4) Become a better day-trader in the Stock Market to pay for all of those things.

Fly at least 10% more this year than last, continuing the tradition over the last few years.

Add somewhere around Leavenworth, KS to the list of airports landed at.

Fly a fully coupled ILS.

Get medical.
Get current in 3 of the four categories I'm rated in. (SEL, MEL, SES)
Actually my plan is to get with a CFI and get my chops back up to checkride ready for CP and IR as a good way to get the rust off.

Fly some more after that.

Get closer to 200 hours
6 PALS flights
ASES rating (scheduled for 1st week of March at Jack Brown)
Start commercial
Spend more time playing in the grass
More weekend trips utilizing GA
If I hit my head hard enough I might list the airplane and go for an upgrade.

- Pass my 135 ride at the new place
- ATP (written, min hours, cert + type rating)
- Not forget to fly personal GA (it’s been 94 days since I’ve commanded a piston A/C :( )
- Get a new Leadville Tshirt

Stretch goals:
- West coast (how many years in a row has this been on the list?)
- Get myself into a Cessna 560

Student pilot here. Check ride scheduled for 1/21. So, first goal is to pass the check ride. Then, obviously, fly fly fly. Can rent 172's from the flight club/school I've been studying at but......if I get my high performance endorsement I can hopefully start flying the 182 I bought in to 18 months ago that I haven't been able to fly. Once I get the plane thing sorted out, I hope to start flying around the Denver/CO region and slowly working my way further and further out. Also want to get some mountain flight training so I can safely enjoy our beautiful Rocky mountains.

Get IFR current again after a long passage of time. More XC time.

Fly ,do some longer cross countries. Fly

Ive been in and out of there and have seen some very large products there. My only complaint is that the approaches are to MDAs.

- CFI certificate
- 800 TT

Stretch goal:
- Get the rest of my Fly MN passport stamps (I've collected something like 90 so far, landed everywhere south of KBRD-Brainerd with the exception of MSP.)

My goal for 2026 is to fly more hours than I did in 25. I think I flew 100+ hours this past year, but need to get up close to 200 like in years past.
Also plan to get my sea plane rating as my best bud is bringing his Lake Buccaneer home in March.

Just crossed 200hrs yesterday. I'll be very disappointed if I'm not a working CFI by the end of 2026.

I hope to fly more dual, practicing emergency and commercial maneuvers, and shoot more rifle matches. Other than that, I hope to either repaint my 210 or build a hangar....watching that stock market. LOL
