Well I took the big leap today. I tooked my first flight in an R-22. It was amazing. Hovering was like flying on ice. I got a good handle of things by the end of the flight. It was really neat tracking a course while turning the helicopters heading.
Well I am happy to annouce that I finished my multi commercial and have just started my CFI. Any words of wisdom? I want to be a great CFI does anyone have any experince they want to share?

I understand that VMCA is calculated with no flaps. I assume it figured with the gear down. Is this corect? also, how much of an increase in Vmc would you have if you deploy the flaps.

Well my first ground school class ever will begin tomorrow. I spent about 8 hours tonight preparing slides and organizing material. I only have two students but hopefully this will insure better instruction.

I am looking at a 2004 New York Sectional Chart. On the north side I see a section by Portland INTL (PWM) that is whited out anybody know what this is? My guess would be the expanded P-67 and if so what is the reason for P-67
