The Great Monkey Race: Progress Thread

Somehow I think we have replaced "cat out of the bag" with "monkey out of the envelope"
 
Turns out Monkey is part of a larger clan.

We might need to reunite him with the family.
 
I think I'm moving out. That monkey is completely disrespectful and has been hanging out in my underwear drawer. This is getting ridiculous.
 
He of course slept in today.
I swear he stopped breathing at one point.

At any rate, he appears to be in a better place today.
I gave him some coffee and lots of water this morning.

Now he is relaxing in our breakroom enjoying the view of Las Colinas.
We are getting Indian for lunch soon.

OH on the real deal...

So it looks like JCranford, Me, and Ryan short are coordinating for a Sunday transfer.
Currently best bet looks like either meeting w/ Unit 74 in KOUN or dropping it off at the FBO there and he can pick it up and fly it east.

Last bit of coordination needed is dialing in the timing and confirming Unit 74 available times.
 
As an aside, I was able to keep my 11 year old daughter from opening the package.

Take from that what you will.

Is there video evidence of the panty raid? I mean, it would be weird if there was, but I had to ask. Not for me, for the safety of the remaining monkey transport pilots. Yeah, for them.

Yup. I'm taking very good care of both the Monkey and the envelope.

I'll confess... I'm the one that let the monkey (and resulting madness) loose.

He is healthy and happy.

There were many witnesses that can attest to this. You were reluctant, until the cutting started and then all hell broke loose.

I wasn't sure if that gum would hold him on the wheel pant all the way back to Denton, looks like it worked.

I feel cheated.

I saw George (aka The Monkey) released from the manila envelope (That's a color, not a place) but he had no Zima or reefer.

On the plus side he didn't touch my salad, but he was a bit aggressive with RobertD's pepper....
 
I sure hope North Carolina has good rehab centers. The poor monkey is going to need one if he makes it that far! :yes:

Just rolled back into Denver from 30th Anniversary western caribbean cruise. Still rockin' and rollin' at my desk, trying to find more coffee and catch up with emails. Accomodations and food much better than my last deployment but still not a fan of cruising.

I understand that it may be a bit difficult to accept but the monkey does have more to offer Mrs. 6PC than you do at this particular point in life. Can you blame her for grabbing a little gusto, so-to-speak? No of course you can't. Just go with the flow and life will return to norm shortly...also be sure to visit the free county health clinic for a check-up on infections of the personal sort...the monkey has been around...
 
If the monkey is taking up hard drugs and causing trouble we will need a Oakland Raider sticker on the envelope.

At least this year Charlotte does have the Panthers. Maybe get the Monkey a little #1 Panthers jersey so Cam can give him a game ball.
