    1985 Cessna 182RG - Skywatch, KFC-200, etc - $93,500

Haven't been pushing it very hard until now. We just learned that our family is moving to Arkansas this summer, and the plane won't be nearly as useful to me there. Time to move her!

    1985 Cessna 182RG - Skywatch, KFC-200, etc - $93,500

Jim, thanks for the note. I actually went up and down the serial numbers recently on one of the aircraft photo sites and found quite a few "sister ships" to N64027 that look just like ours. (There are quite a few that have made their way overseas as well). Apparently the government got a great...

    PA32 down out of PDK

IIRC, the last pax was a "surprise" addition. I can imagine a scenario where the pilot filled it up expecting 3 people, then the fiancee arrives with luggage and a dog. It's easy to see him being 200+ lbs overweight in that situation, but deciding to go anyway based on previous experience with...

    PA32 down out of PDK

Hopefully any such news story will use hard data. Comparing the total number of flight operations at PDK to the number that have ended up making unscheduled landings nearby would reveal that, as a percentage, it's a vanishingly small number. (I'm sure that have been others in the distant past...

    PA32 down out of PDK

Yes, 285 is the only option, or maybe the railroad tracks behind the old GM plant that run parallel to the highway. Wonder if he tried to avoid cars and hit the median wall, but it looks like the prop was still turning when he impacted (both tips bent severely in the news footage I saw). RIP.

    Lancair down at VNY

Knew him - he was a fraternity brother of mine (younger, but he was there when I was a young graduate with a girlfriend still in Gainesville.) Ugh.

    So Much for German Efficiency

SIAP: "Good socialism" (think Germany, Sweden, et al) exists only because capitalists pay to protect the good socialists from the bad ones.

    1985 Cessna 182RG - Skywatch, KFC-200, etc - $93,500

Traffic has been great, and I've had a few offers since going live with this site earlier this summer (I'd like to get closer to my listing price, so I haven't parted with the plane yet). Thanks for all the traffic and the comments. I wanted to let you all know that I've updated website to...

AIRCRAFT SPRUCE + ICEBOX collaboration -- Free Promo Code

We used ours for the first time this past weekend, while traveling from Atlanta to Gainesville, FL and back. The bottom-line result was a huge increase in WAF ("wife acceptance factor") for traveling via GA in the summer. She was attending a business meeting, and the IceBox allowed me to get her...
