Lets make Friday 'Joke Day'!

Maybe not ...

A tombstone epitaph reads: “Pause stranger, when you pass me by. As you are now, so once was I. As I am now, so you will be. So prepare for death and follow me!”

Somebody wrote underneath and said: “To follow you I’ll not consent, until I know which way you went!”

Why is this in the joke thread?
We have been talking about down-sizing our house, but we can't decide on exactly what or how to downsize. I just called my wife over to look at these plans.
She dashed my hopes of getting the perfect house.

It's not really perfect anyway. There's no workshop, no gun room, no cigar room, no wine cellar, no indoor shooting range, no bbq pit, no welding booth, no paint booth,......

Back to the drawing board, sir.

The cartoonist didn't say NO resistance. He said LEAST resistance.
I don't think even that description applies to the French Resistance during WW II. And my understanding is that the French played a significant role in making it possible for hundreds of thousands of British troops to escape from Dunkirk.

I did see the humor in the cartoon, in spite of my quibbles, though.
