Flying to Mexico... For a girl. Is it legal to bring her back?

I swear, you all sound exactly like new pilots who are having trouble with their landings.

Life's tough now because you can't seem to get it. And then, once you finally do, you'll wonder why you were having trouble in the first place.

Get rid of your defeatist attitude.

Maybe you're the taker of the red pill? I don't support the evo psych stuff but there is a lot of truth to it. More than I'd like to admit. But you're right confidence is key.

Also what is a red-pill guy?

It's a reference to the MGTOW movement. Red pill is the reference to The Matrix where Neo sees the world for what it is after choosing not to take the blue pill of "ignorance is bliss", which is what MGTOWs accuse simps who support the construct of female hypergamy in present day family and divorce law, support consciously or by proxy.

Uhhh... apparently there is more than one "red pill."

I don't support or condone the MGTOW movement in any way, shape, or form.

Holy cow. Lots of terms to Google here...

Red pilled refers to a person on the alt-right, mgtow has many over laps with the alt-right.

I looked it up, that's pretty funny. Looks like mostly fedoras who can't figure out why women don't like them.

These days, if you don't fit into the certain "masculine" mold you're pretty much SOL. The thing is, women don't owe guys anything, and the fedora crowd hasn't figured that out yet. It doesn't matter how "nice of a guy" you are. I can relate, I used to think similarly.

I was referred to the other day by one of my coworkers who I really like and respect as "Salty beyond my years."

I really like that. Not an *******, just salty.

The guys who complain that women are manipulative/insert adjective here are just upset that pretty girls have figured that they can use the allure of sex to get dumb guys to do things for them, without providing anything in return. Until guys put the axe to that, it will continue.

Well it obviously can be interpreted many ways based on your influence. But I am familiar with it in terms of men attempting to re-take masculinity and reject the modern feminizing influence of political correctness that largely comprises the left. The attempt to reclaim manhood begins be embracing reality "red pill" and understanding the influences that govern our behavior. The goal is to become an "alpha" and not be diminished or have your behavior determined by women's manipulative efforts, especially in the interactions that revolve around dating and sexual relations. It has kind of taken in a life of it's own and there are lots of peripherally attached political and social groups. So it can be hard to define. I'm only interested because it has strong elements of truth but they are un-moored from any solid ethical or moral standard so it has kind of run awry.

Sounds like you got a pretty good handle on it. I was hoping some of the younger generation guys would offer more insight on it and how wide it's influence is.

What makes you think I fit into the "masculine" mold? The wind can blow me over.

I think you'd be surprised to find that you and I are probably more similar than you think. I just do things I'm good at and stay away from things I can't do.

So, you found out someone you work with doesn't like you? Welcome to the world. Cut them out of your life. If they're not supportive of you as a person, you don't need them. Do the same thing with any "friends" who use you.

I don't need this to turn into some counseling session but, c'mon man. Pick yourself up.

Holy ****. Stop blaming the woman. A fork doesn't make you fat.

At the end of the day, you need to do things you enjoy, be confident in yourself, strive to continually improve yourself (mentally, physically, spiritually, etc.) and live your life to the fullest.

My wife is my best friend. Maybe you need to stop looking for a "girlfriend" or "wife" and start looking for your female best friend.

I took being called Salty as a compliment - and my coworker certainly doesn't dislike me. They just know me well and know how I feel about certain things. I get along very well with all of my coworkers. I work hard, and get the job done.

I don't blame women for anything, in fact my post was meant to convey quite the contrary. I do all of those things you listed, and am happy with myself. Im not looking for a girlfriend, or a wife, or a best friend. I'm looking to not get my heart ripped out of my chest again.

I'm a decent looking guy (I don't think so, but I've dated some ridiculously good looking girls, including the one I lived with for two years who broke my heart) I'm sort of in shape, I have TONS of hobbies, and I'm happy with myself. It would take one hell of a woman for my relationship status to change.

You can still bring her in. But you are going to have to pay the "Trump Tariff" of 20%.
(sorry i couldn't help it)

Saying "I'm a pilot" doesn't work nearly as well as simply referring to "my pilot..."

OP - you might considering subcontracting the job. Know any human traffickers?

I was surprised at how difficult it is these days for some to enter. A friend has a 20-something trophy in Nicaragua he wants to marry, can't seem to find a way to get her to even visit the US, much less live here, before or after the nuptials.

Actually, it's really easy on fiancée visa.

Thing is not so much any lack of successful with the ladies for me, as it's the culture.

American men aren't much better... hence why 90% of my boyfriends (and boy toys) were foreign. Well, that and the accents. OK, maybe it was mostly the accents.

It was the accents.

Women like men who have confidence.

I've tried telling him this!!! David is a very good looking guy who will have zero issues once he finds his confidence.

It's not as bad as some make it out to be. I use tinder, and have a good deal of success. I've gone on some dates with some very cool girls. The nice thing about tinder is it takes some of the guesswork out of it, since it's based on vanity basically.

Just gotta play the game. I think a lot of people struggle because they're afraid of rejection. I quit caring a long time ago lol.

It seems to me, just based on personal experience and observations, that what women consider "confidence" is what many men see as "arrogance." And then we wonder what it is that women see in such azzholes.

I know a couple of guys in their mid-30's who were never very successful with the ladies. They both ended up finding women in foreign countries over the internet. One from the Philippines and the other from some Asian country (Thailand maybe?) and flew over there, brought them back here and tied the knot.
Yeah, women. Sure.:p

Nope. That's just the jaded "why don't women like us so-called nice guys" view. Thing is, the self proclaimed "nice guys" tend to be one of two things - either massive pushovers or dudes chasing after bitchy hot chicks and not getting why it doesn't work. It's easy to differentiate between *******s and confident men. Arrogance is a huge turnoff.

I almost can't believe some of us had to live our lives, dating even, before the interwebs and reddit, fedoras, red pills, MGTOWs, and "Internet support groups." It occurs to me that most "red-pill guys" probably aren't even old enough to have seen the Matrix in the theater.

Well, I've seen plenty of real sweethearts end up with jerks and come to regret it. Maybe you've observed different situations. Too many times I saw attractive and intelligent ladies drawn to sleazes who treated them like dirt, and they kept going back to them, or to other guys who treated them the same way. My sister-in-law is one example, but I've seen plenty of others.

I've been happily and delightfully amazed to be married to the most charming lady I've ever known for 24 years now, so I'm just a disinterested spectator anyway.

It's easy for men to see that difference, but obviously not for women. If you do, then you are the exception. I think what he's saying is men see nice girls hooking up with j@ck@sses that all the guys know will treat her like crap. And when he does, it's no surprise to all the guys who were watching it but the woman seems genuinely hurt because she was expecting Mr right. Most guys have seen this play out hundreds of times.

Best way to '"find girls"? I can tell you that.

Get married.

Before marriage, there is a dearth of interest.
After married, when you are unavailable - they come out of the woodwork for some reason. It's some weird syndrome where they think they must have missed out on something because one of their own found you interesting enough to marry you.

That's a great summary, especially the last sentence. In my view it's a needed reaction to malignant feminism, but itself goes too far perhaps.

This thread is hilarious, but as an avowed friendzoner, I'm unqualified to comment or give advice.

Another term that will have to be Googled.
Look how it's used in the image in post #104. It's pretty self-explanatory anyway. I think... unless I'm interpreting it wrong.
