I am looking to replace my 8000B with the blue tooth version (8000BT). I can't find any online. I guess I'll start calling local avionics shops to see what used equipment they might have available. If I cant find one the PMA 8000G is also a slide in but too many options that I don't need or want.

Pencil or proof of life test is a good way to do the due. Not perfect, but good.
 
I have the pma8000bt. I've considered upgrading to the pma450, but there are 3 versions of the 450. The link above doesn't indicate which version this is being advertised for sale. I don't remember what the difference is between the 450 variants but seem to recall I didn't want the A model.

I might be interested in buying that one and offering my 8000 for sale.
 
I'm not on beech talk or I'd ask that seller if it's a pma450b model.

I think there are 4.
450(blank): the original
450A: Upgraded OLED screen
450B: Added Flightmate (audio prompts/alerts). 2nd Bluetooth module comes standard.
450C: cost reduction from making 3D audio non-adjustable.
