This has been an odd summer by us, we keep alternating between weeks of unseasonably cool weather and weeks of blazing hot weather.

Odd summer here. Heat and humidity broken by daily thunderstorms. You'd think we were Florida.

Woo hoo, monsoon season is here.
Thunderstorms bring mud driveways and massive weeds in the yard. Which also brings the gnats and mosquitoes, but nothing like what east Texas gets. We also get 50-60% humidity which renders the swamp cooler useless.
The first thunderstorm is fun to dance in, after that they just bring more weeds.
