Imagine if some idiot decided to laser Air Force One from his backyard, the same way idiots sometimes laser other aircraft.

What do you think would happen?

I do know when Cheney was VP, He was home all summer here and a construction worker was goofing around and pointed a laser range finder at his motorcade to see how far away he was....

The SS was on him like stink on siht in about 30 seconds.. And he was 1/2 mile sitting on the roof of a house the worker was building.......

I have a friend who is rather short. He was going to an outside event where President Clinton was appearing. He wanted to get some good pics with his camera but was afraid he'd have a hard time in the crowd without holding the camera way up above his head. To ensure he was truly aiming at his target, he affixed a run of the mill red laser pointer to the camera. Thankfully, another friend advised him of potential consequences. People do dumb stuff.
