...not ALL gone...
Well that is good to hear. It wasn't clear (at least not to me) the way it was worded in the communications (or maybe at my advanced age I just don't have good reading comprehension? ).
Much appreciation to all those who have served, those that continue to serve, and those just starting their first term serving this community on the Management Council! As someone who spends a lot of time on volunteer efforts, I suspect most of us whom you have supported and served don't know all that much about all the things you deal with, and all the time spent on our behalf. Thank you!
Every family needs the grand old patriarch to pass down family stories!
Hehehehe... the first time I read that, I thought you meant you were relieved that they were gone. My bad. MC, previous and current, thanks for your help making this a great resource.
Oh, the team has done a great job. I remember how it felt when I stepped down.
Thank you all for all you do.
I participate in another aviation forum that has become a political forum filled with insults and hate.
A little moderation goes a long way to preserve aviation.
I hate that. Morons...
Congratulations and thank you for your willingness to serve. Not an easy job in these divisive times.
I remember a version of that from my rocket scientist days (decades ago) that appended the various phases of an aerospace program to those points. "Praise and honors for the non-participants" was labeled "Launch".
Best line ever.
