That replacement for the BanHammer displayed prominently in the centre of the scene looks...um...serious. :eek:

Now about the previous incumbents...did they all just hang up a sign..."Gone Flying"...and take off (except for @Everskyward, whose sign reads "I'd Rather Be Sailing")?

No transition like the US Administration?
No farewell party?
No speeches?
No opportunity for us plebeian PoAers to heap accolades on them for all the pain and suffering they endured?

This is worthy of a @Sac Arrow rant.

Olive. As in, I use all of it.

I think that the universal sentiment amongst us newbies was begging the existing MC to stay on as long as possible so we can learn the ropes and make a transition so smooth that nobody even notices it. The reason I come here is that it is a large aviation community without any prejudices for a given form of aviation (category, class, type, make, or model) and a low tolerance for political bickering. My personal goal is not to upset that apple cart. So far, my look behind the curtain has been a warming experience rather than a chilling one. I’ll try to do my part to keep the Emerald City shining, even if the former Wizard does escape in a hot air balloon.

Congratulations! Looks like PoA remains is great hands with these selections! I am relatively new here, but all of those selected have, at some point, provided me help/insight/knowledge/humor or a combination of these. Either through direct responses or through reading posts of others and their responses.

Congrats, guys!

Actually, they recorded the transfer / induction of the new board.

All kidding aside, a hearty thanks to the "old" executive council and an equally hearty thanks to those who are willing to take on this rewarding (cough-cough) task for our benefit.
 
Did you at least ban all the old MC members.

I don't have anyone on my ignore list. I just send out recommendations to others to ignore me.
 
I suggest putting a banner under the logo: "Under new management!"

And to the dearly departing MC members, it's time to breathe a sigh of relief. The ban hammer weight has been lifted off your shoulders.
