REPORT: USAF Thunderbird F-16 Crashes in California, Pilot Ejects Safely

Reports of an F-16C Fighting Falcon from the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds crashed near Trona Airport, south of Death Valley, California. The pilot reportedly ejected safely, suffered minor injuries, and was taken to a Ridgecrest hospital.

I was recently reminded by now retired peers that she was student of mine in some form or another during my first sentence to this penal colony. Went through circa 2016; flown with too many of them to remember individual sorties anymore. Just names and faces. Glad she got out ok.
