How long can UH-12B wood rotor blades go before they should be stripped and recovered?

Recovered???? If talking about Hiller M/R blades they are made from solid wood laminate with a fiberglass covering and a metal leading edge erosion strip. They're close to Bell 47 blades in appearance and composition. Most wooden M/R blades have unlimited fatigue limits (as compared to metal blades) and can technically fly indefinitely.

Hiller wood blades are on condition so its hard to say. I had a UH12C back in the 90's. Its a 1955 helicopter. They are hard to test. Its got a metal spar and Fiberglass cover. The leading edge on mine was debonding so I rebonded it. The blades get a bad rep for being wood but they are actually pretty good blades if you ask me.

I think they are the same blade as the Bell 47 just shorter
