Why'd they choose the older T-65B instead of the newer T-65C or T-70?
It’s lighter and offers more performance. The C is mostly weapons systems improvements. The -70 is a total dog with all the new structure to support the gross weight increase.
 
Will they be replacing the C-17 with one of these?

The original was a favorite when I was a kid. Even had one or two of the ships as toys.

The new show isn’t bad. Similar kitsch, odd plots and lots of F.A.B. and “Thunderbirds Are Go” repetitions
 
I wonder of they will do reenactments like the CAF does Pearl Harbor at airshows.
