Me either. Whoa not her taking me there. On my layovers, maybe a Midwest chain but I think there was one in W.Monroe LA near the hotel.

Damn I am jealous as hell...wish I could have been there to meet yall (well except @eman1200 , already know his goofy ass), maybe one of these days!

Myrtle beach is one of my favorite places. I'm in as long as it is during the week (mon thru thursday) or anytime between Thanksgiving and Valentines day! ha ha...my schedule is awful

Well, that's obviously why you can't meet some of us! I only have weekends free.

Grum.man will have to borrow his dad's Luscombe if he hopes to return to BQ1. That Yankee was a sweet little airplane.

My wifee's family is from Zuni, VA outside of Windsor. I frequent Wakefield and Franklin airports when she asks me to fly her home.. Havent been to Newport News yet.. It close to a restaurant she loves called Cheddars.

I go to Wakefield for fuel. They usually have the best prices in the area. Cheddars has gotten better. It had really gone downhill for a while. Don't know what was going on but they seem to have corrected the problem... PHF is a nice airport, not to sure about the snakes running the place, but it's sleepy enough that the military / gov't use it for approaches. You can see AF1 there from time to time. So when they take over I head to Franklin to play... Most of the time I'm the only plane in the pattern when I'm there. Where are you based?

I am out of RDU... I didnt like wakefiled as an overnight location. They dont have tie downs. never pumped fuel from there. Franklin seems like a better option. Both airporst are equidistant from Zuni. Just ones off 460 the other off 258.

Yeah, it's pretty sleepy at Wakefield but I do like Franklin it's just to bad they closed the other runway.

I'm surprised more folks don't use their actual picture for their avatar like I do.

Side note: my parents bought one of these from a mall store when I was in my teens. Apparently it's from some kind of Pepsi promotion.

The first week was rough. I'd walk out of my room and grab a bowl of cereal, turn around and see a 7 foot tall jar jar binks in my living room and throw my cereal bowl into the ceiling! His dead, soulless eyes. Watching. Peering. Staring.
