Excellent outcome for a pilot incapacitation event. We don't know whether the student has flown in small aircraft before; if not, even the more impressive.

Just shows how easy this flying stuff really is. The only reason it takes so many students so long to solo is that they have a conscious CFI onboard.

Wasn't he warned that students would try to kill him in many different ways.??

I've been informed that he actually obtained his CFI certificate way back in April.

In any case, I hope his incapacitation is diagnosed, isn't serious, and that he has a speedy recovery.

He should be grateful there was a student onboard who could save his life!

LOL!!! And a since of humor to boot!

TOWER: "Tango Foxtrot Romeo, You're doing really really well, you're doing an amazing job"
STUDENT PILOT: "Yeah well, my flight instructor did say that I was the best student he's had".

Heh; what a humble guy. Since the instructor got his flight instructor certificate in April, how many students has he had?

Can’t he be the best even if he’s the first? :dunno:

Of course that means he’s also the worst.

I was wondering how much percent of student pilots can do this? Handle this type of emergency. It was really a miracle for me.

Good job on both sides of the radio.

So, does this get logged as duel or solo?
