Just upgraded to the local priority plan

180 knots at 9500 ft (7,500 agl)

Just have it sitting on the glare shield

110 mps down 20 up

Cancelled my Sirius today as it was $69 a month and the starlink extra was only $40.

Oh niceee. How much data do you get and how much is it? Is it unlimited data on the ground? I asked them for this (to use up to 200mph) last year and they said no, so I cancelled and returned mine. They gave me a full refund including the service fee.

I think this plan is fairly new. Paging @Martin Pauly

I've also picked up a mini to mount in a 210 rear window. I also will be cancelling a SXM account on the plane :). I have not flown with it yet but have tested it on the ground and it is easy to set-up. I have suction cup mounts but, according to others who have mounted it this way, the cups fail at altitude and requires re-attaching at the reduced air pressure; this is impractical in a 210 unless one has a back seat passenger and little gear in the back. I am working like an evil genius to figure out a removeable mount that doesn't require suction cups.

I haven't tested it yet but I understood that once you use your 50gb block it falls back to some slow/throttled speed, but doesn't just cut off.

If true, $65/mo is all I'll likely ever need.

Your ability to suspend disbelief is endearing, as though we've never seen the endgame with wired broadband or mobile carriers ;)

50 gb a month then $1 per GB

$40 on top of $30 for base plan a month

Going to take it with me on a business trip to Turkey and see how it works there

This isnt hard to look up. its the $65 local priority plan. 50gb (chunk, as its $25/50gb on this plan) on top of the $40 base plan. Speeds up to 350mph.

And no, its not free "on the ground" or "in the air". In fact, its not even an aviation plan, its just speed limited. They do have aviation plans that are $2000+/month for gb data allowances as well.
So what does the $40 base plan get you?
