I’m taking my Bo this year and it’s been 40 years since I’ve been there! I’m thinking of camping at Vintage and was wondering if people put signs on the plane or prop to identify it? Make, model, year etc.

They do — in fact your registration packet should have one you can fill out and slide over the prop.

Aren’t those basically for aircraft that the owner wants judged?

Negative. Everyone gets one to fill out. You have to ask separately for judging.

Last time I stayed in vintage I didn’t get any signs or anything. Not that anyone really wanted to look at my airplane.

Perhaps Bill Engvall had all ready handed them all out?

They have volunteers walking around with the packets. If you're by your plane long enough, they stop by. We put one on the 170 prop. When we went to leave, it was stuck like glue! The cardboard kind of melted from the rain.
